Clutch Master Cylinder and Reservoir

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1 and 2

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the lower steering column covers.
  4.  
  5. Remove the lower left side air conditioning duct, if so equipped.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the pushrod from the clutch pedal.
  8.

  1. Disconnect the reservoir hose.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the secondary cylinder hydraulic line to the master cylinder.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the master cylinder retaining nuts and remove the master cylinder.
  6.  
  7. To install, using a new gasket, reverse the removal procedure. After installation, bleed the clutch system.
