REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



1988-91 R/V Series
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the headlamp switch control knob.
  4.  
  5. Remove the radio control knobs.
  6.  
  7. Remove the clock adjuster stem.
  8.  
  9. Remove the steering column cover (4 screws).
  10.  
  11. Unfasten eight screws and remove instrument bezel.
  12.  
  13. Remove the cluster lens.
  14.  
  15. Remove the shift indicator.
  16.  
  17. Remove the gauge retainer plate.
  18.  
  19. Unfasten the gauge retaining screws and lift out the gauge.
  20.  

To install:
  1. Install the gauge and tighten the retaining screws.
  2.  
  3. Install the gauge retainer plate.
  4.  
  5. Connect the shift indicator.
  6.  
  7. Install the cluster lens.
  8.  
  9. Install instrument bezel.
  10.  
  11. Install the steering column cover (4 screws).
  12.  
  13. Insert the clock adjuster stem.
  14.  
  15. Press the radio control knobs and the headlamp switch control knob onto their shafts.
  16.  
  17. Connect the negative battery cable.
  18.  

Except 1988-91 R/V Series
  1. Remove the cluster.
  2.  
  3. Remove the gauge mounting screws.
  4.  
  5. Carefully pull the gauge from the circuit board. Avoid touching any of the circuit board pins.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
