REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



R/V Series
EXCEPT BLAZER/JIMMY PASSENGER'S BUCKET SEAT

  1. Remove the bolt covers, if so equipped.
  2.  
  3. Remove the seat adjuster to floor panel bolts.
  4.  
  5. Remove the seat with the adjuster from the vehicle.
  6.  
  7. The seat adjusters may be removed by removing the retaining bolts.
  8.  
  9. Reverse the above to install.
  10.  

BLAZER/JIMMY PASSENGER'S BUCKET SEAT
  1. Remove the seat trim screws and cover if necessary.
  2.  
  3. Place the seat in the full forward position.
  4.  
  5. Remove the restraint cable-to-floor bolt and allow the seat to tip forward.
  6.  
  7. Unbolt the spring retaining brackets.
  8.  
  9. Remove the lower seat bracket-to-floor bolts and lift the seat from the truck.
  10.  
  11. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the bolts to 41 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).

C/K Series
BUCKET SEAT

See Figure 3

  1. Remove the seat trim screws and cover if necessary.
  2.  
  3. Remove the seat-to-floor bolts.
  4.

  1. Lift out the seat.
  2.  
  3. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the bolts to 41 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).
  4.  

SPLIT BENCH SEAT
  1. Remove the seat trim screws and cover if necessary.
  2.  
  3. Remove the seat-to-floor bolts.
  4.  
  5. Remove the seat belt retaining bolts.
  6.  
  7. Lift out the seat/seat belt assembly.
  8.  
  9. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the seat and belt bolts to 41 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).
  10.  

SOLID BENCH SEAT

See Figure 4

  1. Remove the seat trim screws and cover if necessary.
  2.

  1. Remove the seat-to-floor bolts.

  3. Lift out the seat.
