Front Side Door Glass

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



R/V Series

See Figure 1

  1. Lower the door glass completely.
  2.  
  3. Remove the trim panel from the door.
  4.  
  5. Remove the vent window assembly as previously outlined.
  6.  
  7. Slide the glass forward until the front roller is in line with the notch in the sash channel.
  8.

  1. Push window forward and tilt the front portion of window up until rear roller is disengaged.
  2.  
  3. Put window assembly in normal position (level) and raise straight up and out.
  4.  
  5. Tilt the window into position and install it.
  6.  

C/K Series

See Figure 2

  1. Lower the door glass completely.
  2.  
  3. Remove the trim panel from the door.
  4.

  1. Remove the water deflector by peeling it back.
  2.  
  3. Remove the module panel screws.
  4.  
  5. Remove the door lock rods from the module and tape them to the door.
  6.  
  7. Remove the lower run channel bolt.
  8.  
  9. Loosen the upper run channel bolt.
  10.  
  11. Move the run channel away from the glass.
  12.  
  13. Pull the wiring harness towards the door to reach the connector. Remove the boot from the wiring and disconnect the harness at the door hinge pillar.
  14.  
  15. Remove the module and window assembly from the door frame by tilting it and lowering it from the door.
  16.  
  17. Fold back the tab on the channel and slide the glass out.
  18.  

To install:
  1. Slide the glass into the channel and fold over the tab.
  2.  
  3. Fit the glass into the rear channel in the door, then, while pulling the channel towards the glass, fit the glass into the front run channel.
  4.  
  5. Install the boot from the wiring and connect the harness at the door hinge pillar.
  6.  
  7. Install the lower run channel bolt.
  8.  
  9. Install the door lock rods at the module.
  10.  
  11. Install the module panel screws, starting at the top left, then the top right.
  12.  
  13. Install the water deflector.
  14.  
  15. Tighten the upper run channel bolt.
  16.  
  17. Install the trim panel from the door.
  18.
