REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Console Mounted

See Figures 1 through 5

If equipped with a compact disc player, removal and installation procedures are the same as for the radio.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the console bezel and any other trim pieces to gain access to the retaining screws.
  4.

  1. Unfasten the screws that attach the radio to the console.
  2.

  1. Pull the radio out, detach the connectors, ground cable and antenna, then remove the radio.

  1. The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Connect the negative battery cable and check the radio for proper operation.
  4.  

Dash Mounted
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the instrument panel extension bezel and any other trim pieces required for access.
  4.  
  5. Remove the radio bracket.
  6.  
  7. Unfasten the screws that attach the radio to the instrument panel.
  8.  
  9. Pull the radio out, detach the connectors, ground cable and antenna to separator the components.
  10.  
  11. The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable and check the radio for proper operation.
