REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Speakers

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the speaker grille or door trim panel, as applicable.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the speaker housing retaining screws.
  6.  
  7. Detach the speaker electrical connector.
  8.  
  9. If necessary, unfasten the electrical connector clips from the speaker housing.
  10.  
  11. Unfasten the retaining screws, then remove the speaker from the housing.
  12.  

To install:
  1. Position the speaker to the housing and secure with the retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  2.  
  3. If equipped, fasten the electrical connector clip to the speaker housing.
  4.  
  5. Attach the electrical connector.
  6.  
  7. Fasten the speaker housing retaining screws and tighten to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Install the door trim panel or speaker grille.
  10.  
  11. Connect the negative battery cable, then check the speakers for proper operation.
  12.  

TWEETERS
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door trim panel.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the retainers from the tweeter, then detach the electrical connector.
  6.  
  7. Remove the tweeter from the vehicle.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Position the tweeter and attach the electrical connection.
  2.  
  3. Secure the tweeters using the retainer.
  4.  
  5. Install the door trim panel.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.  

Rear Speakers

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the rear window trim panel.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the retaining bolts/screws.
  6.  
  7. Pull the speaker up and detach the electrical connector.
  8.  
  9. If necessary, unfasten the retaining screws, then remove the speaker from the housing.
  10.  

To install:
  1. If necessary, install the speaker in the housing, and secure with the retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Attach the speaker electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Align the speaker with the mounting holes. Install the retaining screws and tighten to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the rear trim panel.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable and check for proper speaker operation.
  10.
