REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Grand Prix
  1. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Unfasten the three screws holding the cover over the rear of the lights.
  4.  
  5. Remove the bolt holding the cover to the headlight housing panel.
  6.  
  7. Remove the cover by sliding it out from under the bolt.
  8.  
  9. Detach the light electrical connector.
  10.  
  11. Remove the bulb socket. If necessary, replace the bulb.
  12.  
  13. Unfasten the bolt at the top rear of the assembly.
  14.  
  15. If replacement is necessary, remove the assembly from the vehicle.
  16.  

To install:
  1. Position the light assembly making sure the guide pins on the bottom are aligned with the holes.
  2.  
  3. Install the bolt, bulb/socket and attach the electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Install the cover under the bolt and tighten.
  6.  
  7. Install the cover retaining screws
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable and close the hood.
  10.  
  11. Check the fog lights for proper operation.
  12.  

Lumina, Cutlass Supreme and Regal
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Detach the fog light electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the two retaining bolts under the front bumper, then remove the fog light assembly.
  6.  

To install:
  1. Install the assembly and secure with the retaining bolts.
  2.  
  3. Attach the fog light electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Connect the negative battery cable and close the hood.
  6.  
  7. Check the fog lights for proper operation.
  8.  

AIMING



  1. Park the car on a level surface, at least 15 ft. (4.5m) from a wall that is perpendicular to the ground surface. Make sure there is no excess weight in the trunk, unless you normally travel with that amount of weight in the car. Bounce the car a few times to settle the suspension.
  2.  
  3. Measure and record the distance from the ground to the center of each fog light lens.
  4.  
  5. Turn the fog lights on and adjust so the hot-spots (lit area of most concentrated intensity) are 4 in. (102mm) below the height of the lenses. The adjusting screw is located at the top right corner of the fog light.
