REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION



Front
  1. If equipped with power door accessories, disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. If equipped, remove the power door lock and window controls.
  4.

  1. Using a suitable door window handle clip removal tool, remove the retaining clip and handle from the door.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door handle bezel.
  4.

  1. Remove the fasteners in the armrest and lower panel.
  2.  
  3. Detach and feed the electrical connectors through the door panel, if so equipped.
  4.

  1. Unfasten the trim panel retainers, then carefully pry the trim panel from the door frame at the window seal to remove it from the vehicle.

To install:
  1. Install the trim panel to the door, placing the window seal portion of the panel over the door frame.
  2.  
  3. If equipped, feed the electrical connectors through the door panel.
  4.  
  5. Install the fasteners in the armrest and lower panel.
  6.  
  7. Install the door handle bezel.
  8.  
  9. Install the door window handle.
  10.  
  11. Install the power door lock and window controls, if so equipped.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable.
  14.  

Sliding

  1. Remove the inside door handle, bezel-to-door screws, then remove the bezel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door trim panel fasteners by prying with a suitable trim panel removal tool, then remove the trim panel.
  4.

  1. Replace any broken retainers and push the door panel with the retainers into the door.
  2.  
  3. Install the door inside handle bezel cover.
  4.  
  5. Install the inside handle and bezel to door screws.
