REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Door Speakers
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove door trim panel, as outlined in 0 of this guide.
  4.  
  5. Remove the four front door speaker screws, then pull the speaker partially away from the door to access the connector.
  6.  
  7. Detach the speaker electrical connector and remove the speaker from the vehicle.
  8.

To install:

  1. Attach the speaker electrical connector.
  2.  
  3. Place the speaker into the recess, making sure it's aligned with the locating pin.
  4.  
  5. Install the four speaker screws and tighten the screws so they are fully driven, seated, but not stripped.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.  

Rear Deck Speakers
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the rear shelf speaker grille by disengaging the retaining tabs.
  4.  
  5. Remove the four retaining screws; one from each corner of the speaker.
  6.  
  7. Lift the speaker out of the recess and detach the electrical connector.
  8.  
  9. Remove the rear speaker and the spacer, if necessary.
  10.

To install:

  1. If removed, install the speaker spacer.
  2.  
  3. Attach the speaker electrical connector and place the speaker into the recess, taking care to line up the mounting holes.
  4.  
  5. Install the four speaker screws.
  6.  
  7. Replace the speaker grille by lining up the locking tabs and applying a light downward pressure to properly seat the grille.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.
