Signal and Marker Lights

WARNING
Do not touch the glass bulb with your fingers. Oil from your fingers can severely shorten the life of the bulb. If necessary, wipe off any dirt or oil from the bulb with rubbing alcohol before completing installation.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Turn Signal and Parking Lights
  1. Remove the headlight assembly, as outlined in this section.
  2.  
  3. Remove the socket by the depressing the locking tab and rotating the socket 1 / 4 turn counterclockwise.
  4.  
  5. Carefully remove the bulb from socket.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  8.  

Side Marker Light
  1. Remove the retaining screw from the side marker lens.
  2.

  1. Pull the screw side of the side marker lens from the body, then slide the lens out of the body.

  1. Twist the socket about a quarter turn until the lens and socket can be separated.

  1. Pull the bulb out to remove it from the socket.
  2.  
  3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  4.  

Rear Turn Signal, Brake and Parking Lights
  1. Open the trunk.
  2.  
  3. Remove the retaining clips (trim fasteners) and move the trunk trim to access the taillamp bulbs.
  4.

  1. Remove the three plastic wingnut fasteners securing the taillamp assembly to the body.

  1. Pull the taillamp assembly from the vehicle and detach the electrical connector.
  2.

  1. Gently spread the clips at each end of the assembly while lifting the bulb carrier from the lens.

  1. Remove the bulb from the socket.

  3. Installation is the reverse of removal.

High-mount Brake Light

The bulb for the high-mount brake light can be accessed through the trunk.

  1. Open the trunk and locate the socket and connector for the high-mount brake light.
  2.

  1. Turn the socket 1 / 4 turn counterclockwise.

Dome Light
  1. Pry the lens of the dome/map lamp off.
  2.

  1. Grasp the dome lamp bulb and pull it straight out to remove.

  1. Install a new bulb, wipe it clean, and snap the lens into place.

License Plate Lights

The license plate bulb can be removed without removing the lens, however, the two screws can easily be removed if necessary.

  1. Grasp the socket and turn 1 / 4 turn counterclockwise to remove it from the lens.

  3. Pull the bulb from the socket.
  4.  
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
