REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Hardtop Models
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the air conditioner electrical connector by accessing through the glove box.
  4.  
  5. Remove the heater control unit lever knobs and the heater control unit cover plate.
  6.  
  7. Remove the illumination lamp from cover plate.
  8.  
  9. Remove gearshift control lever upper boot and console on manual transaxle models.
  10.  
  11. Remove the instrument panel bezel and front radio face panel.
  12.  
  13. Remove the radio from the instrument panel.
  14.  
  15. Remove radio antenna lead and electrical connectors.
  16.  
  17. Remove antenna cable from clips under instrument panel.
  18.  
  19. Remove left kick panel.
  20.  
  21. Remove antenna mast screws and guide antenna wire through hole.
  22.  

To install:
  1. Guide antenna wire through hole and install antenna mast screws.
  2.  
  3. Install left kick panel.
  4.  
  5. Install antenna cable on clips under instrument panel.
  6.  
  7. Install radio antenna lead and electrical connectors.
  8.  
  9. Install the radio in the instrument panel.
  10.  
  11. Install the instrument panel bezel and front radio face panel.
  12.  
  13. Install gearshift control lever upper boot and console on manual transaxle models.
  14.  
  15. Install the illumination lamp on cover plate.
  16.  
  17. Install the heater control unit lever knobs and the heater control unit cover plate.
  18.  
  19. Install the air conditioner electrical connector by accessing through the glove box.
  20.  
  21. Connect the negative battery cable.
  22.  

Convertible Models
  1. Remove the inner wheel housing.
  2.  
  3. Remove the antenna mast from ground base.
  4.  
  5. Remove antenna ground base mounting nut.
  6.  
  7. Remove antenna cable connector located behind wheel housing.
  8.  
  9. Remove antenna ground base assembly and cable from vehicle.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Install antenna ground base assembly and cable in vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Install antenna cable connector located behind wheel housing.
  4.  
  5. Install antenna ground base mounting nut and tighten to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the antenna mast from ground base.
  8.  
  9. Install the inner wheel housing.
  10.
