  1. Remove the A-pillar trim.
  2.  
  3. Remove the inside rearview mirror and dome lamp.
  4.  
  5. Remove the sunshades.
  6.  
  7. Remove the cowl vent grille.
  8.  
  9. Remove the windshield stoppers, cowl vent grille and windshield wipers.
  10.  
  11. Punch a hole through adhesive with an awl and slip piano wire through hole. Cut adhesive around window keeping piano wire as close to the window as possible to avoid body damage.
  12.  
  13. Remove windshield from vehicle.
  14.  

To install:
  1. Using a knife cleaned with alcohol smooth remaining adhesive around body side so that it is uniform in thickness.
  2.  
  3. Remove adhesive from window if it is to be reused. Use care to not damage primer coated surface.
  4.  
  5. Install headliner, sunshades, dome lamp assembly and rear view mirror.
  6.  
  7. Install windshield stoppers and secure with screws.
  8.  
  9. Install reveal molding to window.
  10.  
  11. Clean surface of window, peel paper from one side of new windshield spacer which is included in the new molding set and adhere to windshield.
  12.  
  13. Install windshield to body. Position window so that the distance between the upper end of the window and the body is about 0.24 in. and the distance between each side of the window and the body are even.
  14.  
  15. Using a wax pencil, mark points on window and body. Remove window.
  16.  
  17. Apply primer to body surface where windshield is to be adhered. Apply primer to edge of windshield and reveal molding.
  18.  
  19. Using a cartridge type caulking gun, apply a smooth continuous bead of urethane adhesive around primed surface edge of the windshield.
  20.  
  21. Using rubber suction cups, install the windshield, aligning mating marks.
  22.  
  23. Press windshield firmly into adhesive using care not to excessively squeeze adhesive out. Wipe around edge of window to ensure a watertight seal and apply more adhesive if necessary.
  24.  
  25. Install cowl vent grille and windshield wiper arms. Tighten wiper arm nuts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
  26.  
  27. Water test windshield after adhesive is set.
