REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the mast retaining nut, mast and bezel.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the antenna cable from the receiver cable.
  6.  
  7. Remove the screw and star washer attaching the antenna to the fender.
  8.  
  9. Remove the antenna.
  10.  

When installing the antenna to the fender make sure the retaining nut is tight. A loose antenna or one that does not make good contact at the fender can cause radio interference.

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  2.  

1994 Utility Models
  1. Remove the antenna mast, cable nut and bezel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the wiper arms and the cowl vent grille.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the antenna cable from the radio extension cable.
  6.  
  7. Remove the antenna retainers and washers.
  8.  
  9. Remove the antenna.
  10.  

When installing the antenna to the fender make sure the retaining nut is tight. A loose antenna or one that does not make good contact at the fender can cause radio interference.

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
