GM Storm/Spectrum 1985-1993 Repair Guide

FRONT SUSPENSION

Print

The front suspension on the Spectrum and the Storm consists of MacPherson struts and lower control arms. The struts are anchored to the vehicle by strut supports in the wheel wells.

The lower control arms contain a ball joint which connects to the steering knuckle. A stabilizer shaft helps to control body roll during hard cornering.
