REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Spectrum

See Figure 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery.
  2.  
  3. Remove the instrument cluster bezel retaining screws and bezel.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the windshield wiper and lighting switch connectors.
  6.

  1. Remove the instrument cluster retaining screws and pull out the assembly.
  2.  
  3. Remove the trip reset knob and the assembly glass.
  4.  
  5. Remove the buzzer, sockets and bulbs.
  6.  
  7. Remove the speedometer assembly, fuel and temperature gauge.
  8.  
  9. Remove the tachometer, if equipped.
  10.  
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedures.

Storm

See Figure 2

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the cluster switch panel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the 4 screws securing the instrument cluster. Disconnect the electrical connectors and speedometer from the back of the instrument cluster.
  6.

  1. Remove the cluster assembly.
  2.  
  3. Installation is the reverse order of the removal procedure.
