Possible Causes:



The PPS detects the voltage at the passenger seat belt tension sensor signal is less than 0.05 volt or greater than 4.5 volts for 500 milliseconds.
 
The PPS detects the voltage at the passenger seat belt tension sensor 5-volt reference is less than 4.5 volts or greater than 9.1 volts for 500 milliseconds.
 
The PPS detects the amperage at the passenger seat belt tension sensor low reference is 25 mA or greater for 500 milliseconds.

Dimming Display Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Input Circuit Open

Possible Causes:



When the BCM monitors a signal voltage equal to or greater than 4.86 volts for more than one second

Vehicle Speed Information Circuit Open

Possible Causes:



The navigation radio compares the vehicle speed signal from the PCM to the GPS location signal. If the GPS signal indicates that the vehicle has traveled 4 km (2.5 mi) but no vehicle speed signal was received, the radio sets the DTC.

Reverse Gear Signal Circuit

Possible Causes:



The EBCM detects an open in the backup lamp supply voltage circuit.

Possible Causes:



DTC B0022 (stage 1) or B0042 (stage 2) will set when the steering wheel module deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0024 (stage 1) or B0043 (stage 2) will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The steering wheel module high circuits and/or low circuits is short-to-ground, or short-to-voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
The steering wheel module high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and steering wheel module deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0026 (stage 1) or B0044 (stage 2) will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
 
The steering wheel module high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and the steering wheel module deployment loop is more than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
The steering wheel module deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

The steering wheel module high circuits and/or low circuits is short-to-ground, or short-to-voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
The steering wheel module high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and steering wheel module deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0026 (stage 1) or B0044 (stage 2) will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
 
The steering wheel module high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and the steering wheel module deployment loop is more than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

DTC B0061 will set when the roof rail module - left deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0062 will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
 
Roof rail module - left high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and the roof rail module - left deployment loop is more than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - left deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0068 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
Roof rail module - left high or low circuits is short to ground or short to voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - left high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and roof rail module - left deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

Roof rail module - left deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0068 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
Roof rail module - left high or low circuits is short to ground or short to voltage for 500 milliseconds.

DTC B0069 will set when the roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0070 will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
 
Roof rail module - right high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and the roof rail module - right deployment loop is more than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0071 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
Roof rail module - right high or low circuits is short to ground or short to voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - right high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

Roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0071 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
Roof rail module - right high or low circuits is short to ground or short to voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - right high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

Roof rail module - right high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and the roof rail module - right deployment loop is more than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is more than 4.8 ohms for 500 milliseconds.
 
DTC B0071 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
Roof rail module - right high or low circuits is short to ground or short to voltage for 500 milliseconds.
 
Roof rail module - right high circuit is less than 2.4 volts and roof rail module - right deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohms for 500 milliseconds.

Right Front/Passenger Seat Position Sensor Circuit

Possible Causes:



DTC B0083 and B0084 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is 4 mA or less for 500 milliseconds.
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is between 8 mA and 11 mA for 500 milliseconds.
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is 18 mA or greater for 500 milliseconds.

Left Front/Driver Seat Position Sensor Circuit

Possible Causes:



DTC B0083 and B0084 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is 4 mA or less for 500 milliseconds.
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is between 8 mA and 11 mA for 500 milliseconds.
 
The SDM detects the SPS circuit amperage is 18 mA or greater for 500 milliseconds.

Electronic Front End Sensor 1 Performance

Possible Causes:



DTC B0100 and B0103 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
A valid ID message is not received within 5 seconds of the EFS being powered up.
 
Status message is not received.
 
The SDM has failed twice to reset the EFS.
 
DTC B0102 and B0105 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM has received an ID message from the EFS which does not match the ID stored in the SDM memory.
 
When 2 EFS resets are attempted without the correct identification being detected by the SDM.
 
DTC B0101and B0104 will set when the SDM has received 4 consecutive NOK (Not OK) messages from the EFS.

Possible Causes:



DTC B0100 and B0103 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
A valid ID message is not received within 5 seconds of the EFS being powered up.
 
Status message is not received.
 
The SDM has failed twice to reset the EFS.
 
DTC B0102 and B0105 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM has received an ID message from the EFS which does not match the ID stored in the SDM memory.
 
When 2 EFS resets are attempted without the correct identification being detected by the SDM.
 
DTC B0101and B0104 will set when the SDM has received 4 consecutive NOK (Not OK) messages from the EFS.

Possible Causes:



DTC B0100 and B0103 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
A valid ID message is not received within 5 seconds of the EFS being powered up.
 
Status message is not received.
 
The SDM has failed twice to reset the EFS.
 
DTC B0102 and B0105 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM has received an ID message from the EFS which does not match the ID stored in the SDM memory.
 
When 2 EFS resets are attempted without the correct identification being detected by the SDM.
 
DTC B0101and B0104 will set when the SDM has received 4 consecutive NOK (Not OK) messages from the EFS.

DTC B0100 and B0103 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
A valid ID message is not received within 5 seconds of the EFS being powered up.

Possible Causes:



DTC B0100 and B0103 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
A valid ID message is not received within 5 seconds of the EFS being powered up.
 
Status message is not received.
 
The SDM has failed twice to reset the EFS.
 
DTC B0102 and B0105 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
 
The SDM has received an ID message from the EFS which does not match the ID stored in the SDM memory.
 
When 2 EFS resets are attempted without the correct identification being detected by the SDM.
 
DTC B0101and B0104 will set when the SDM has received 4 consecutive NOK (Not OK) messages from the EFS.
 

Trouble Code: B0285



Electronic Rear Defrost Circuit Low

Possible Causes:



The BCM detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage in the rear defog relay control circuit.
 
The condition exists for 30 seconds.
 
The BCM is not requesting the Rear Defogger System.

Electronic Rear Defrost Circuit High

Possible Causes:



The BCM detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage in the rear defog relay control circuit.
 
The condition exists for 30 seconds.
 
The BCM is not requesting the Rear Defogger System.

Left Turn Signal Circuit

Possible Causes:



When the BCM receives a left turn signal command and the left turn signal indicator supply voltage circuit is open, shorted to ground, or shorted to voltage

Right Turn Signal Circuit

Possible Causes:



When the BCM receives a right turn signal command and the right turn signal indicator supply voltage circuit is open, shorted to ground, or shorted to voltage

Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Reset

Possible Causes:



This DTC indicates the keep alive memory (KAM) in the module has been reset. It is a normal occurrence when battery positive voltage or ground is removed from the module, such as a battery disconnect.
 

Trouble Code: B1007



EEPROM Write Error

Possible Causes:



The module writes information to a data block in the EEPROM. The module then reads the data and compares it to what was sent to the data block. If the data does not match after 3 consecutive attempts, the module sets the DTC.

Possible Causes:



The digital radio receiver (DRR) detects an antenna fault.

Possible Causes:



The PPS has a current fault.
 
The PPS fault counter in the SDM has reached 127 counts.

Cellular Phone Microphone Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



The VCIM detects an open in the cellular microphone drain signal circuit or a short to voltage in the cellular microphone signal circuit.
 
The above conditions are present for greater than 10 seconds.
 

Trouble Code: B2462



Global Positioning System (GPS) Signal Error

Possible Causes:



The navigation radio test the GPS antenna every 0.3 second.
 
The radio determines there is an open in the GPS antenna.
 
DTC B2462 does not set if DTC B1328 or B1327 is current.
 

Trouble Code: B2476



Cellular Phone Select Service Switch Malfunction (3 button assembly)

Possible Causes:



The VCIM powers the button assembly through the keypad supply voltage circuit for 11.5 milliseconds, turns the power OFF, then waits for 50 milliseconds and sees a voltage value greater than 1.8 volts on this circuit.
 
The above conditions are present for greater than 300 milliseconds.

Cellular Phone Select Switch Range/Performance

Possible Causes:



A button is depressed or stuck for more than 15 seconds.
