REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Front and Rear
  1. Place a jack or stand beneath the door assembly to support its weight.
  2.  

Place a rag at lower edge of the door and jack or stand to prevent damage to painted surface.

  1. Remove door without hinge.
  2.

  1. Remove the door hinge.
  2.  
  3. Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Check door for proper fit and operation.
  4.  

When installing hinge, coat the hinge link with recommended multipurpose grease.

ADJUSTMENT

Front and Rear

Proper door alignment can be obtained by adjusting the door hinge and door lock striker. The door hinge and striker can be moved up and down fore and aft in enlarged holes by loosening the attaching bolts.

The door should be adjusted for an even and parallel fit for the door opening and surrounding body panels.
