Specific to:

Honda Accord 2007

  1. Remove the glove box, and the passenger's kick panel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the connector clips, the wire harness clip, and bolt.
  4.  
  5. Cut the plastic cross brace in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain these parts to be reinstalled later.

  7. Disconnect the connectors from the blower motor, and the recirculation control motor, and then remove the wire harness clip.
  8.  
  9. Remove the mounting nuts, the mounting bolts and the blower unit.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
  2.  

Specific to:

Honda Accord 2008

  1. Remove the glove box.
  2.  
  3. Remove the passenger's undercover.
  4.  
  5. Remove the right kick panel.
  6.  
  7. Remove the dust and pollen filter assembly from the blower unit.
  8.  
  9. Remove the bolts and the wire harness clip. Then cut the plastic cross brace in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain plastic cross brace to be reinstalled later.

  11. Disconnect these connectors: Passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (28P), stereo amplifier (with premium audio system), AM/FM antenna lead, and right side wire harness 20P connector (C410). Remove the wire harness clips.

  13. Remove the two screws and remove the cover.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect the connector from the blower motor and the wire harness clip. Remove the self-tapping screw and the mounting nut.
  16.  
  17. Remove the self-tapping screws, and the passenger's heater duct.
  18.  
  19. Disconnect the connector from the recirculation control motor. Remove the mounting nuts.
  20.  
  21. Pull the blower unit out while rotating it clockwise as shown, so that the glove box bracket passes through the dust and pollen filter area.

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.

Specific to:

Honda Civic 2007-2008

  1. Remove the glove box.
  2.  
  3. Cut the plastic cross brace in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown, and discard it.

  5. Remove the bolts and the glove box frame.
  6.  
  7. Remove the wire harness clip, the self-tapping screws, and the passenger's heater duct.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the connector from the blower motor. Remove the wire harness clip.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the connector from the recirculation control motor. Remove the self-tapping screws, the bolt, the mounting nuts, and the blower unit.
  12.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.
  2.  

Specific to:

Honda S2000 2007-2008

  1. Discharge and recover the A/C refrigerant.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the battery cables and remove the battery.
  4.  
  5. Pull out the grommets of the A/C lines, and then carefully separate the upper grommet from the lower grommet by releasing the lock tabs.
  6.  
  7. Remove the bolt, and then disconnect the suction line and the receiver line from the blower/evaporator unit. Plug or cap the lines immediately after disconnecting them to avoid moisture and dust contamination.
  8.  
  9. Remove the passenger's dashboard lower cover and the right kick panel.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the dashboard wire harness connector from the passenger's door wire harness connector, and then remove it. Remove the wire harness connectors and the convertible top control unit from the steering hanger beam.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the connectors from the blower motor, the power transistor, the evaporator sensor, and the recirculation control motor, and then remove the wire harness clips. Remove the drain hose, the self-tapping screw, the mounting bolts, the mounting nuts, and the blower/evaporator unit.
  14.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
  2.  
  3. Replace any O-ring for the A/C lines.
  4.  
  5. Recharge the A/C system refrigerant.
  6.  

Specific to:

Honda Fit 2007-2008

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Remove the blower motor retaining screws.
  6.  
  7. Remove the blower motor.
  8.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.
