Removal & Installation
- Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations.
- Remove the front wheel.
Remove the self-locking nut and the flange nut while holding the respective joint pin with a hex wrench, then remove the stabilizer link.
Install the stabilizer link on the stabilizer bar and damper with the joint pins set at the center of their range of movement.
NOTEThe left stabilizer link has a yellow paint mark, while the right stabilizer link has a white paint mark.
- Install a new self-locking nut and a new flange nut, and lightly tighten them.
- Tighten the lower self-locking nut to 28 ft. lbs. (38 Nm) and the upper flange nut to 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm), while holding the respective joint pin with a hex wrench.
- Reinstall all removed parts, and test-drive the vehicle.
