Removal & Installation




CAUTION
Put on gloves to protect your hands. Do not pry the panel surface with any tools to prevent damage. Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.

  1. Remove the glove box.
  2.  
  3. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover as follows:
    1. Gently pull down the rear edge to detach the clips.
    2.  
    3. Pull the undercover away to release the pins (B) from the holders (C).

  5. Remove the screw (A). Detach the clips (B) and release the hooks (C) by pulling the center lower cover (D) down by hand. Disconnect the heater control unit connectors (E).

  7. Inside the glove box opening, disconnect the recirculation control cable (A) and the mode control cable (B), and from under the dashboard, disconnect the air mix control cable (C). Take care not to bend any cables.

To install:

  1. Position the center panel so the air control door cables can be attached.
  2.  
  3. Connect the heater control unit connectors, fully position the center panel into place and attach the hooks, clips and the retaining screw.
  4.  
  5. Install the passenger-s dashboard undercover.
  6.  
  7. Install the glove box.
