Hyundai Entourage 2007-2008

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Relieving Fuel System Pressure.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A) and the fuel tank pressure sensor connector (B).

  6.  
  7. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the fuel filler hose (A) and the leveling hose (B).

  10.  
  11. Disconnect the fuel feed quick connector near the canister.
  12.  
  13. Support the fuel tank with a suitable jack.

  15. Remove the fuel tank band (A) by unscrewing the mounting bolts (B).
  16.  
  17. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Tighten the fuel tank band bolts (B) to: 29-40 ft. lbs. (39-54 Nm).

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion-except Azera.
  4.  
  5. Remove the service cover (A) under the back seat-except Azera.
  6.  
  7. Remove the service cover (A) in the trunk-Azera.

  8.  
  9. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A).

  11. Start the engine and wait until the fuel in the fuel line is exhausted.
  12.  
  13. After the engine stalls, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect the negative battery connection.
  16.  
  17. Disconnect the fuel feed line (A) and canister hose (B)-except Azera.
  18.  
  19. Disconnect the fuel feed quick-connector (A), fuel tank pressure sensor connector (B), and fuel pump and sub fuel sender connector (C)-Azera.

  21. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  22.  
  23. Remove the center muffler and main muffler, as needed.
  24.  
  25. Support the fuel tank with a jack.

  27. Unscrew the brake hose mounting bolts on the left-hand and right-hand sides-Accent only.
  28.  
  29. Remove the fuel tank bands (A).
  30.  
  31. Disconnect the fuel filler pipe (A), the leveling hose (B), and canister hose (C).
  32.  
  33. By moving the jack down slowly, remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal.
  2.  
  3. Tighten the fuel tank mounting bolts to: 29-40 ft. lbs. (39-54 Nm).
