REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Remove the transaxle.
  2.  
  3. Remove the flywheel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the oil seal case.
  6.  
  7. Remove the separator from the case, as required.
  8.  
  9. Remove the seal from the case.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Clean the seal case and separator.
  2.  
  3. Lubricate and install the new seal using a seal driver.
  4.  
  5. Install the separator into the housing so that the oil hole faces down.
  6.  
  7. Lubricate the lips of the seal.
  8.  
  9. Apply sealer or install a new gasket on the seal case and install. Tighten case bolts to 7-9 ft. lbs. (8-10 Nm).
  10.  
  11. Install the flywheel.
  12.  
  13. Install the transaxle.
  14.
