  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove dashboard and glove box components as necessary to gain access to the blower motor.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the blower motor and blower resistor electrical harness.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube.
  8.  
  9. Remove the three screws that attach the blower motor to heater unit.
  10.  
  11. Lower the blower motor far enough so that the FRESH/ RECIRC vacuum connector can be disconnected.
  12.  
  13. Remove the blower motor from the car.
  14.  

To Install:
  1. Inspect the blower wheel for damage and replace it as necessary. Replace the blower motor mounting seal.
  2.  
  3. Install the blower motor after connecting the FRESH/ RECIRC vacuum connector.
  4.  
  5. Install the three screws that attach the blower motor to heater unit and tighten securely.
  6.  
  7. Connect the blower motor cooling tube.
  8.  
  9. Connect the blower motor and blower resistor electrical harness.
  10.  
  11. Install dashboard and glove box components previously removed to gain access to the blower motor.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable.
  14.  
  15. Check the blower for proper operation at all speeds.
