VOLTMETER



  1. Connect the voltmeter between the MFI diagnosis pin and ground pin.
  2.  
  3. Turn the ignition switch ON .
  4.  
  5. The codes will be read out in sequence.
  6.  

MAINTENANCE INTERVAL LAMP

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON .
  2.  

Ground the L-wire (pin 10) in the diagnostic connector for 2.5 seconds.

  1. The first output is the stored code or the code "no fault detected (4444)".
  2.  
  3. Ground the L-wire (pin 10) in the diagnostic connector for an additional 2.5 seconds top obtain the next code.
  4.  

Codes will repeat infinitely until the next step is ordered by grounding the L-wire.

  1. Continue pulling codes until the "end of output (3333)" code is reached.
  2.  

GENERIC SCAN TOOL



When using a generic scan tool, always follow the manufacturer-s instructions for hook-up and diagnosis.
