Removal & Installation



  1. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Raise the front of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported. Remove the front wheel and tire from front hub.
    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire.

  3. Remove the stabilizer bar link.
  4.  
  5. Remove the nut and stabilizer bar link.
  6.  
  7. Remove the stabilizer bar link on the opposite side in the same way.
  8.  
  9. Remove the rear mounting bolts of sub-frame.
  10.  
  11. Remove the stabilizer bracket and bushing.
  12.  
  13. After loosen the bolts, then remove the bracket and bushing.
  14.  
  15. Remove the stabilizer bracket and bushing on the opposite side in the same way.
  16.  
  17. Remove the stabilizer bar.
    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage the power steering pressure tube.

To install:

  1. Install the stabilizer bar.
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer bushing and bracket. Tighten the bolts.
  4.  
  5. Install the rear mounting bolts of sub-frame.
  6.  
  7. Install the stabilizer bushing and bracket on the opposite side in the same way.
    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when installing the front wheel and tire.

  9. Install the stabilizer bar link and nut.
  10.  
  11. Install the stabilizer bar link.
  12.  
  13. Install the front wheel and tire to front hub. Tighten the wheel nuts slightly. Lower the vehicle, and tighten the wheel nuts securely to 66-81 ft. lbs. (89-110 Nm).
