  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the inside door panel and plastic weatherproof sheet.
  4.  
  5. Remove the inner and outer waist seals by prying with an appropriate prytool.
  6.  
  7. If equipped with vent windows, remove the vent assembly and glass.
  8.  
  9. Remove the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator. Remove the glass by raising the glass out of the channel and tilting it out as necessary.
  10.  
  11. If equipped with power windows, disconnect the wire harness from the motor/regulator assembly.
  12.  
  13. Remove the regulator attaching screws and remove the regulator through the access hole in the rear of the door frame.
  14.  

To install:
  1. Install the regulator assembly through the rear section of the door.Install the regulator using the attaching screws.
  2.  
  3. If equipped with power windows, connect the wire harness for the motor/regulator assembly.
  4.  
  5. Install the window glass into the regulator assembly. Install the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator, and insure that bottom channel is properly positioned.
  6.  
  7. Install the vent assembly and glass, if equipped.
  8.  
  9. Install waist seal with the cut away portion turned inward.
  10.  
  11. Install the inside door panel and plastic weatherproof sheet.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Open the window, and make sure the window glass moves evenly.
  14.

The procedure for removal and/or installation is the same for front and rear glass and regulators.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door panel and weatherproof sheet. If equipped with power windows, disconnect wiring harness.
  4.  
  5. Remove the inner and outer waist seals by prying with an appropriate prytool.
  6.  
  7. If equipped with vent windows, remove the vent assembly and glass.
  8.  
  9. Remove the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator. remove the glass by raising the glass out of the channel and tilting it out as necessary.
  10.  
  11. Remove the regulator attaching screws and remove the regulator through the access hole in the bottom of the door frame.
  12.  

To install:
  1. Install the regulator assembly through the bottom section of the door. Install the regulator using the attaching screws.
  2.  
  3. If equipped with power windows, connect the wire harness for the motor/regulator assembly.
  4.  
  5. Install the window glass into the regulator assembly. Install the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator, and insure that bottom channel is properly positioned.
  6.  
  7. Install the vent assembly and glass, if equipped.
  8.  
  9. Install waist seal with the cut away portion turned inward.
  10.  
  11. Install the inside door panel and plastic weatherproof sheet.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Open the window, and make sure the window glass moves evenly.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door panel and weatherproof sheet.
  4.  
  5. Remove the inner and outer waist seals by prying with an appropriate prytool.
  6.  
  7. Remove the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator. remove the glass by raising the glass out of the channel and tilting it out as necessary.
  8.  
  9. Drill out the regulator attaching rivets and remove the regulator through the door inner panel.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Install the regulator assembly through the door inner panel. Install the regulator using new rivets.
  2.  
  3. Install the window glass into the regulator assembly. Install the screws attaching the bottom channel and regulator, and insure that bottom channel is properly positioned.
  4.  
  5. Install waist seal with the cut away portion turned inward.
  6.  
  7. Install the inside door panel and plastic weatherproof sheet.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Open the window, and make sure the window glass moves evenly.
  10.
