Removal & Installation

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4.  
  5. Drain the brake fluid. Properly dispose of old brake fluid. Do not allow brake fluid to touch painted surfaces.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the connector. Disconnect and plug the fluid lines.
  8.  
  9. Remove the mounting bolts. Remove the component from the vehicle.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Be sure to bleed the brake system using the proper grade and type brake fluid.
  4.

  6.  
  7. Drain the brake fluid. Properly dispose of old brake fluid. Do not allow brake fluid to touch painted surfaces.

  9. Disconnect the connector. Disconnect and plug the fluid lines.
  10.  
  11. Remove the mounting bolts. Remove the component from the vehicle.
  12.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
