  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4.  
  5. Properly discharge the air conditioning system.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect and plug the refrigerant lines from the engine compartment.
  8.  
  9. Remove the glove box and mating trim.
  10.  
  11. Remove the cooling unit.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the intake door motor and blower motor connector.
  14.  
  15. Remove the blower unit.
  16.  
  17. Remove the three bolts and then remove the motor from the blower case.
  18.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Be sure to properly recharge the air conditioning system.
  4.

  5. Remove the lower instrument cover.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the motor electrical connectors.
  8.  
  9. Remove the motor retaining screws.
  10.  
  11. Remove the motor from its mounting.
  12.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.

  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  7. Disconnect and plug the refrigerant lines from the engine compartment.

  9. Remove the glove box and mating trim.

  11. Disconnect the intake sensor connector.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the fan control amp and blower motor connector.
  14.  
  15. Remove the blower and cooling unit.
  16.  
  17. Separate the blower and cooling unit case. Remove the evaporator.
  18.  
  19. Remove the blower motor retaining screws. Remove the blower motor from its mounting.
  20.  

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Be sure to properly recharge the air conditioning system.
