Intake Valve Timing Control Range/Performance (Bank 1):

Possible Causes:



Check for an accumulation of debris on the CMP sensor pickup
 
CKP POS sensor or CMP Phase sensor signal is erratic
 
IVT connector is damaged or loose (an intermittent fault)
 
IVT solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
IVT solenoid is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed
