REMOVAL & INSTALLATION CRV Models



  1. Remove the 2 Phillips screws from the top of the instrument cluster assembly trim.
  2.  
  3. Carefully remove the trim by pulling on the lower portion of the trim to release the lower the lower clips.
  4.  
  5. Remove the 2 upper and 2 lower Phillips screws from the cluster assembly.
  6.  
  7. Carefully remove the instrument cluster assembly enough to access the electrical connectors on the back of the assembly.
  8.  
  9. Once the electrical connectors are removed, the assembly can be removed.
  10.  
  11. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Odyssey Models

4-cylinder engines
  1. Carefully pry off the left side outlet.
  2.  
  3. Remove the 2 upper and 1 left side Phillips screws, then remove the instrument cluster trim.
  4.  
  5. Place a soft protective cloth on the upper steering column trim and remove the 4 cluster assembly mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Carefully pry the cluster assembly partially out and unplug the electrical connectors.
  8.  
  9. Once the electrical connectors are removed, the assembly can be removed.
  10.  
  11. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  12.  

V6 ENGINE
  1. Remove the four steering column cover fasteners from the lower cover and remove the upper and lower covers.
  2.  
  3. Remove the center panel by carefully prying the panel away from the dash. Wrap the end of the prytool in protective tape to avoid damaging the components.
  4.  
  5. Remove the driver's center switch panel by carefully prying the panel away from the dash. Detach the electrical connectors and remove the panel.
  6.  
  7. Tilt the steering wheel to the full down position.
  8.  
  9. Remove the 6 screws located along the bottom, and the 2 screws by the instruments in the top of the instrument cover panel.
  10.  
  11. Carefully pull along the top of the panel to release the pressed in clips, and once loose, detach the electrical connectors and remove the panel.
  12.  
  13. Place a soft protective cloth on the upper steering column trim and remove the 4 gauge assembly mounting screws.
  14.  
  15. Carefully pull the gauge assembly outward and detach the electrical connectors.
  16.  
  17. Once the electrical connectors are removed, the assembly can be removed.
  18.  
  19. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
