INSPECTION

RWD I-Mark: remove the fuel gauge from the cluster assembly and measure the resistance between the two terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 102 ohms at terminal IG and U. The resistance should be 102 ohms at terminals U and E. The resistance should be 204 ohms at terminals IG and G.

FWD I-Mark: remove the instrument cluster and measure the resistance between the two terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 55 ohms.

RWD Impulse: remove cluster assembly and measure the resistance between the terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 260 ohms at terminal IG and U. The resistance should be 200 ohms at terminals IG and E. The resistance should be 109 ohms at terminals U and E.

FWD Impulse and Stylus: remove cluster assembly and measure the resistance between the terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 103 ohms at terminal IGN and UNIT. The resistance should be 65 ohms at terminals UNIT and GROUND.

Early P'up: remove the instrument cluster and measure the resistance between the two terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 25 ohms.

Late Model P'up, Amigo and Rodeo: remove cluster assembly and measure the resistance between the terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 110 ohms at terminal IGN and GROUND with out tachometer and 213 ohms with tachometer. The resistance should be 25 ohms at terminals UNIT and IGN without tachometer and 83 ohms with tachometer. The resistance should be 135 ohms at terminals UNIT and GROUND without tachometer and 130 ohms with tachometer.

Trooper: remove the sub meter assembly and measure the resistance between the two terminals shown in the illustration. The resistance should be 25 ohms.
