On models with power steering, check the fluid in the power steering pump every 1,000 miles. The level of the fluid should be at the correct point on the dipstick attached to the inside of the lid of the power steering pump. Fill the unit with DEXRON®II automatic transmission fluid. If the pump is abnormally low on fluid, check all the power steering hoses and connections, and the hydraulic cylinder for possible leaks.
