REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



  1. Remove the four attaching bolts and remove the unit from the truck.
  2.  
  3. Drain the housing and clean the exterior.
  4.  
  5. Remove the pulley retaining nut and the pulley.
  6.  
  7. Remove the six attaching bolts and remove the pulley shaft from the housing. There is a shim pack between the housings.
  8.  
  9. Press the shaft through the housing and remove the inner bearing cone, spacer and shim pack.
  10.  
  11. Remove the oil seal and outer bearing cone.
  12.  
  13. Clean all parts in a safe solvent. Replace any worn or damaged parts.
  14.  
  15. Assembly and installation is the reverse of removal and disassembly.
