  1. Remove the hard or soft top at the windshield frame.
  2.  
  3. Remove the windshield hold-down bolts in the lower corners of the instrument panel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the wiper motor mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Remove the harness retaining clips located at the bottom of the windshield.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the wiper linkage drive arm.
  10.  
  11. Grasp the motor and pull the drive arm out of the access hole.
  12.  
  13. Pry the drive arm off of the motor pivot. DO NOT REMOVE THE PIVOT ATTACHING NUT!
  14.  
  15. Remove the 2 screws holding the intermittent wiper module bracket to the bottom of the instrument panel.
  16.  
  17. Reach up behind the instrument panel and disconnect the wiring harness.
  18.  
  19. Remove the motor.
  20.  

To install:
  1. Install and connect the wiring harness.
  2.  
  3. Install the the intermittent wiper module bracket to the bottom of the instrument panel.
  4.  
  5. Turn the wipers on to make sure the motor cycles to the PARK position.
  6.  
  7. Install the wiper linkage drive arm on the motor pivot.
  8.  
  9. Install the motor and drive arm in the windshield frame.
  10.  
  11. Connect the wiper linkage drive arm to the pivot shaft.
  12.  
  13. Install the wiper motor mounting screws. Torque the screws to 96 inch lbs. (11 Nm).
  14.  
  15. Install the harness retaining clip located at the bottom of the windshield.
  16.  
  17. Install the windshield.
  18.  
  19. Install the hard or soft top at the windshield frame.
  20.
