Trouble Code: P1309

Chassis Acceleration Sensor High Input

Trouble Code Conditions: Vehicle driven to a speed of over 10 mph, and the PCM detected the Chassis Acceleration Sensor signal was too high during the test. Note: If DTC P0501 or P1500 is set, repair these trouble codes first.

Possible Causes:



Chassis Acceleration sensor signal circuit is shorted to power
 
Chassis Acceleration sensor ground circuit is open
 
Chassis Acceleration sensor is damaged or has failed
 
PCM is damaged
 

Trouble Code: P1458

Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Circuit Malfunction

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine running and PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the A/C Compressor Clutch signal circuit during the test.

Possible Causes:



A/C compressor clutch circuit is open
 
A/C compressor clutch circuit is shorted to ground
 
A/C compressor clutch circuit is shorted to system power
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P1500

Vehicle Speed Sensor Performance

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine running OSS signal over 775 rpm, L4 switch indicating "off", and the PCM did not detect any VSS signals during the CCM test.

Possible Causes:



Vehicle speed sensor circuit to the Meter Fuse is open
 
VSS signal ground circuit is open
 
VSS signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
VSS signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power (B+)
 
VSS is damaged or failed, or the speedometer is damaged

Trouble Code: P1505

IAC Valve Opening Coil Signal Low

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine runtime over 5 seconds, and the PCM detected the IAC Valve Opening Coil signal remained in a low state during the test.

IAC valve control signal is open
 
IAC valve control signal is shorted to ground
 
IAC valve is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed (IAC "driver" circuit may be open in the PCM)
