  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Raise the front of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
  4.  
  5. Remove the front wheel and tire from front hub.
  6.  
  7. Remove the split pin, then remove castle nut and washer from the front hub.
  8.  
  9. Remove the caliper mounting bolts, and hang the caliper assembly to one side. To prevent damage to the caliper assembly or brake hose, use a short piece of wire to hang the caliper from the undercarriage.
  10.  
  11. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the knuckle.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the tie rod end ball joint from the knuckle.
  14.  
  15. Remove the lower arm ball joint mounting bolts.
  16.  
  17. Remove the strut lower arm mounting bolts.
  18.  
  19. Remove the hub and the knuckle assembly.
  20.  

To install:

  1. Install the hub and the knuckle assembly.
  2.  
  3. Install the strut lower mounting bolts. Tighten to 103-118 ft. lbs. (140-160 Nm) 
  4.  
  5. Install the lower arm ball joint mounting bolts. Tighten to 74-88 ft. lbs. (100-120 Nm) 
  6.  
  7. Install the tie rod end ball joint in the knuckle. Tighten to 33-44 ft. lbs. (45-60 Nm). Use a new cotter pin.
  8.  
  9. Install the wheel speed sensor.
  10.  
  11. Install the brake caliper. 
  12.  
  13. Install the washer, castle nut and split pin from the front hub. Tighten to 147-206 ft. lbs. (200-280 Nm) 
  14.  
  15. Install the front wheel and tire on the front hub. Tighten to 66-81 ft. lbs. (90-110 Nm) 
  16.  
  17. Be careful not to damage the hub bolts then install the front wheel and tire. 
  18.
