Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the under cover.

  5. Drain the engine coolant. Remove the radiator cap to speed draining.

  7. Remove the air duct.
  8.  
  9. Remove the battery and tray.

  11. Remove the coolant reservoir tank.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
  16.  
  17. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler hoses.

  19. Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connector.
  20.  
  21. Remove the cooling fan motor assembly mounting bolts.
  22.  
  23. Remove the A/T oil cooler lines.
  24.  
  25. Remove the cooling fan motor assembly with pulling it from the radiator.

  27. Remove the radiator mounting brackets (A, B).

  29. Remove the condenser mounting bolts.

  31. Remove the condenser bracket with pulling the condenser from the radiator.
  32.  
  33. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.
  34.  

To install:

  1. Position the radiator in its mounting location.
  2.  
  3. Secure the condenser to the radiator with the two brackets and two mounting bolts.
  4.  
  5. Install the two radiator mounting brackets and tighten the mounting bolts.
  6.  
  7. Install the cooling fan motor assembly into its mounting position, but do not secure the with the mounting bolts at this time.
  8.  
  9. Connect the A/T oil cooler lines.
  10.  
  11. Tighten the cooling fan motor mounting bolts.
  12.  
  13. Connect the cooling fan motor electrical connector.
  14.  
  15. Connect the transmission oil cooler hoses.
  16.  
  17. Connect the lower radiator hose.
  18.  
  19. Connect the upper radiator hose.
  20.  
  21. Install the coolant reservoir tank.
  22.  
  23. Install the battery and tray.
  24.  
  25. Install the air duct.
  26.  
  27. Tighten the drain plug and install the under cover.
  28.  
  29. Connect the negative battery cable.
  30.  
  31. Refill the cooling system to proper level.
  32.  
  33. Run the engine until hot and verify proper cooling system operation.
  34.  
  35. With engine at normal operating temperature, check and fill the automatic transmission fluid.
