Removal & Installation

  1. Discharge refrigerant from refrigeration system
    NOTE
    At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Evacuate air from refrigeration system. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant. Specified amount : 24.69 ± 1.76 oz.

  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Air cleaner hose
    2.  
    3. Radiator upper mountings
    4.  
    5. Hood lock support
    6.  
    7. Hones
    8.  

  4.  
  5. Remove receiver with receiver holder
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the liquid tubes. Tighten the bolts to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
      NOTE
      Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

  7. Remove condenser fan
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2.  
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and fan.
    4.

  9. Disconnect discharge hose
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect hose. Tighten the bolt to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
      NOTE
      Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

  11. Remove condenser
    1. Remove the 2 condenser upper mounting bolts.
    2.  
    3. Push the radiator toward engine.
    4.  
    5. Push the condenser toward radiator and pull it upward.

To install:


NOTE
At the time of installation, if condenser is replaced, add compressor oil to condenser. Add 1.4 fluid ounces of Compressor oil : ND-OIL 8 or equivalent.

  1. Install condenser
    1. Push the condenser away from the radiator and push it downward.
    2.  
    3. Push the radiator away from engine.
    4.  
    5. Install the 2 condenser upper mounting bolts.
      NOTE
      At the time of installation, lubricate a new O-ring with compressor oil and install the hose.

  3. Connect discharge hose
    1. Install the bolt and connect hose. Tighten the bolt to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

  5. Install condenser fan
    1. Install the 2 bolts and fan.
    2.  
    3. Connect the connector.
      NOTE
      At the time of installation, lubricate 3 new O-rings with compressor oil and install the tubes.

  7. Install receiver with receiver holder
    1. Install the 3 bolts and connect the liquid tubes. Tighten the bolts to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

  9. Install the following parts:
    1. Hones
    2.  
    3. Hood lock support
    4.  
    5. Radiator upper mountings
    6.  
    7. Air cleaner hose
      NOTE
      At the time of installation, evacuate air from refrigeration system. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant. Specified amount : 24.69 ± 1.76 oz.

  11. Charge refrigerant to refrigeration system
