Transmission 3rd Gear Ratio Incorrect

Possible Causes:



ATF level is too low, or the ATF is badly deteriorated
 
A/T line pressure is low, or the oil pump has failed
 
SSA, SSB, SSC or the PCS is stuck (mechanical fault)
 
A/T 3-4 clutch is slipping (mechanical fault)
 
A/T 2-3 or the 3-4 shift valve is stuck (mechanical fault)
 
A/T Pressure regulator or the pressure modifier valve is stuck
 
A/T solenoid reducing valve is stuck (mechanical fault)
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0734



Transmission 4th Gear Ratio Incorrect

Possible Causes:



ATF level is too low, or the ATF is badly deteriorated
 
A/T line pressure is low, or the oil pump has failed
 
SSA, SSB, SSC or the PCS is stuck (mechanical fault)
 
A/T 2-4 brake bank or 3-4 clutch is slipping (mechanical fault)
 
A/T 1-2, 2-3 or 3-4 shift valve is stuck (mechanical fault)
 
A/T Pressure regulator, pressure modifier or solenoid reducing valve is stuck
 
PCM has failed

Torque Converter Clutch Control Engagement Error

Possible Causes:



Brake switch is damaged, out of adjustment or has failed
 
Engine performance conditions are erratic or unstable
 
Engine or transmission temperature is too high
 
TCC control valve is stuck in the -off- position
 
An internal transaxle component is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed

Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Malfunction (Self-Test)

Possible Causes:



TCC control circuit is open (continuous high signal)
 
TCC control circuit is shorted to ground (continuous low signal)
 
TCC control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
TCC solenoid is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed

Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



PCS control circuit is open (continuous high signal)
 
PCS control circuit is shorted to ground (continuous low signal)
 
PCS control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
PCS is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed

SSA is stuck in -off- position (mechanical problem)

Possible Causes:



Neutral switch malfunction
 
Poor connection of neutral switch connector or PCM connector
 
Short to ground in wiring harness between neutral switch terminal A and PCM terminal 1S
 
Open circuit in wiring harness between ground and neutral switch terminal B
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: U0073



Data Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



SCP data bus to other controller(s) is open or shorted to ground
 
A/C System controller is damaged or has failed
