Possible Causes:



Brake switch signal circuit is open or shorted ground
 
Brake switch power circuit (B+) open between switch and PCM
 
Brake switch is damaged, misadjusted or installed improperly
 
PCM has failed

Neutral switch input circuit problem

Possible Causes:



Neutral switch malfunction
 
Poor connection of neutral switch connector or PCM connector
 
Short to ground in wiring harness between neutral switch terminal A and PCM terminal 1S
 
Open circuit in wiring harness between ground and neutral switch terminal B
 
PCM has failed

Possible Causes:



VTCS shutter valve malfunction (stuck closed)
 
Misconnecting or pull out the vacuum hose
