Removal & Installation
- Raise and safely support the vehicle.
- Remove the stabilizer control link.
- Remove the stabilizer bracket.
Remove the bushing and the rear stabilizer bar.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, using the tightening specifications in the illustration and noting the following important steps:
Install the rear stabilizer so that the identification mark is on the right side of the vehicle.
Install the bushings aligned with the stop flanges, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
Install the stabilizer control link in the proper angle, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
- Be sure to install the stabilizer control link in the proper position. If it is not installed properly, the stabilizer control link may interfere with peripheral components when driving, causing damage to each other.
Place the vehicle on the ground and verify that the stabilizer control link is installed in the angle shown in the figure.
