Possible Causes:



Brake not depressed at the proper time during KOEO Self-Test.
 
Brake was depressed at all times during the KOEO Self-Test.
 
Brake was not cycled "on" and "off" during the KOER Self-Test.
 
Brake switch signal circuit shorted to system power (B+)
 
Brake switch is damaged or has failed, or is out of adjustment
 
PCM has failed

Digital Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Self-Test)

Possible Causes:



The gear selector was not In Park during the Self-Test
 
TR switch is damaged, has failed or is out of adjustment
 
Starter or starter relay is damaged or has failed
 
Backup lamp circuit is open or shorted
 
PCM had failed
