Mode Control Cable




NOTE
Note the routing position of the cable in order to ensure easy installation.

  1. Disconnect the mode control cable at the heater case.
  2.  
  3. Remove the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the mode control cable at the heater control unit.
  6.  
  7. Remove the mode control cable from the Instrument Panel (IP).
  8.  

To install:

  1. Position the mode control cable in the vehicle. Correctly route the cable.
  2.  
  3. Connect the mode control cable to the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Install the heater control unit to the IP.
  6.  
  7. Connect the mode control cable to the heater case.
  8.  
  9. Adjust the mode control cable.
  10.  

  1. Remove the center console trim bezel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the knee bolster.
    NOTE
    Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.

  4.  
  5. Disconnect the mode control cable from the heater case.
  6.  
  7. Remove the two screws and the pull the heater control unit forward.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the mode control cable from the heater control unit.
  10.  
  11. Remove the mode control cable from the vehicle.

To install:

  1. Position the mode control cable in the vehicle. Route the cable as previously noted.
  2.  
  3. Connect the mode control cable to the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Install the heater control unit to the Instrument Panel (IP). Secure with the two screws.
  6.  
  7. Connect the mode control cable to the heater case.
  8.  
  9. Adjust the mode control cable.
  10.  
  11. Install the knee bolster.
  12.  
  13. Install the center console trim bezel.
  14.  

Temperature Control Cable




NOTE
Note the routing position of the cable in order to make installation easier.

  1. Disconnect the temperature control cable at the heater case (1).
  2.  
  3. Remove the heater control unit
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the temperature control cable (6) at the heater control unit (5).
  6.  
  7. Remove the temperature control cable from the Instrument Panel (IP).
  8.  

To install:

  1. Position the temperature control cable (6) in the vehicle. Correctly route the cable.
  2.  
  3. Connect the temperature control cable to the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Install the heater control unit to the IP.
  6.  
  7. Connect the temperature control cable to the heater case.
  8.  
  9. Adjust the temperature control cable.

  1. Remove the center console trim bezel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the knee bolster.
  4.  
  5. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) compartment.
  6.  
  7. Remove the front floor console.
  8.  
  9. Remove the radio.

    Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.

  10.  
  11. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the HVAC module assembly.
  12.  
  13. Remove the two screws and pull the HVAC control unit forward.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the HVAC control unit.
  16.  
  17. Remove the temperature control cable from the vehicle.

To install:

  1. Position the temperature control cable in the vehicle. Route the cable as previously noted.
  2.  
  3. Connect the temperature control cable to the HVAC control unit.
  4.  
  5. Install the HVAC control unit to the IP. Secure with the two screws.
  6.  
  7. Connect the temperature control cable to the HVAC module assembly.
  8.  
  9. Adjust the temperature control cable.
  10.  
  11. Install the radio.
  12.  
  13. Install the front floor console.
  14.  
  15. Install the IP compartment.
  16.  
  17. Install the knee bolster.
  18.  
  19. Install the center console trim bezel.
  20.  

Vent Control Cable




NOTE
Note the routing position of the cable in order to ensure easy installation.

  1. Disconnect the fresh/recirc control cable at the blower case.
  2.  
  3. Remove the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the fresh/recirc control cable at the heater control unit.
  6.  
  7. Remove the fresh/recirc control cable from the Instrument Panel (IP).
  8.  

To install:

  1. Position the fresh/recirc control cable in the vehicle. Correctly route the cable.
  2.  
  3. Connect the fresh/recirc control cable to the heater control unit.
  4.  
  5. Install the heater control unit to the IP.
  6.  
  7. Connect the fresh/recirc control cable to the blower case.
  8.  
  9. Adjust the fresh/recirc control cable.
  10.
