Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



VSS signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
VSS power circuit is open (check for power from MFI relay)
 
VSS ground circuit is open between sensor and chassis ground
 
VSS is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed (the PCM provides 5v on the VSS signal circuit)

Power Steering Pressure Switch Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



Power steering pressure switch signal circuit is open
 
Power steering pressure switch signal circuit shorted to ground
 
Power steering pressure switch is damaged or has failed
