Removal & Installation



Door Mounted

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to the procedure in Section 10.
  4.  
  5. Remove the mounting screws, detach the harness connector and remove the front speaker.
  6.  


WARNING
Handle the speaker carefully to avoid damaging the cone during removal and installation.

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure
  2.  

Door Mounted Tweeters

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the delta cover (triangular shaped cover behind the side mirror and above the door panel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the speaker retaining screws.
  6.  
  7. Lift the speaker out of the cavity.
  8.  
  9. Detach the electrical and remove the speaker.
  10.  
  11. The installation is the reverse of removal.
  12.  

Front (Instrument Panel Mounted) Speaker

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front speaker garnish.
  4.  
  5. Remove the retainers, detach the harness connector and remove the front speaker.
  6.

Rear Deck Speakers

  5. Remove the speaker retaining screws.

  7. Lift the speaker out of the cavity.

  9. Detach the electrical and remove the speaker.

  11. The installation is the reverse of removal.
