  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Label and disconnect all appropriate vacuum hoses.
  4.  
  5. Label and disconnect all appropriate electrical harnesses.
  6.  
  7. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
  8.  
  9. Label and disconnect all appropriate fuel lines.
  10.  
  11. Label and disconnect the ignition wires from the spark plugs.
  12.  
  13. Unfasten the cylinder head cover bolts in the reverse order of the tightening sequence. Remove the cylinder head cover.
  14.  

To install:
  1. Throughly clean all gasket mating surfaces.
  2.  
  3. Install the cylinder head cover using new gaskets.
  4.  
  5. Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to 43-35 inch lbs. (2-11Nm) using the indicated sequence.
  6.  
  7. Connect the ignition wires.
  8.  
  9. Connect all previously removed vacuum hoses, electrical harnesses and fuel lines.
  10.  
  11. Connect all appropriate fuel lines.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable.
  14.
