  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the brake fluid system.
  4.  
  5. Remove or disconnect the following:
    NOTE
    Apply different colored paint or tape to each pipe connector and actuator to prevent incorrect connection.



    Negative battery cable
     
    Air cleaner duct
     



    Harness connectors, brake pipes, nuts securing actuator and actuator ground cable.
     

  6.  
  7. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  8.  
  9. Refill brake system and bleed the air from the brake system.
  10.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the brake fluid system.
  4.  
  5. Discharge the A/C refrigerant.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Wiper and linkage assembly
     
    High-pressure and low pressure A/C pipes to allow access to ABS actuator and control unit
     
    Harness connectors from ABS actuator and control unit
     
    Brake pipes
     
    Bolts and ABS actuator and control unit
     

  8.  
  9. To install, reverse removal procedure. Refill brake system and bleed the air from the system.
  10.  
  11. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
  12.  
  13. Adjust steering angle sensor.
  14.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the brake fluid system.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  6.  
  7. To remove and install control module and actuator, refer to illustration.
  8.  
  9. To remove and install brake tube, use a flare nut wrench to prevent the flare nuts and brake tube from being damaged.
  10.  
  11. After completion, bleed air from brake system.
  12.  
  13. Securely connect ground cable.
  14.
