Removal & Installation



1.6L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Drain the cooling system.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Throttle linkage, electrical connections and vacuum lines from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     

  8.  
  9. The throttle body can be removed from the manifold at this point or can be removed as an assembly with the intake manifold.
  10.  
  11. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Bolts holding the upper portion of the intake to the lower portion. Remove the bolts in reverse order of the tightening sequence
     
    Upper portion of the intake
     
    Fuel injector wiring harness connectors and the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Fuel hoses from the fuel rail assembly
     
    Bolts that secure the fuel rail to the intake
     
    Injectors with the fuel rail assembly
     
    Intake manifold retaining bolts in the proper sequence and separate the manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the bolts in reverse order of the tightening sequence
     
    Intake manifold gasket and clean all the gasket contact surfaces thoroughly with a gasket scraper and suitable solvent. All traces of old gasket material must be removed to ensure proper sealing.
     
    Inspect the intake manifold for cracks. Using a metal straight-edge, check the surface of the intake manifold for warpage.
     

  12.  

To install:

  1. Install or connect the following:
    NOTE
    Refer to Section 1 of this manual for the intake manifold torque sequence illustration. The illustration is located after the Torque Specification Chart.


    NOTE
    Be sure to properly position the throttle body gasket with the cut out facing down.



    New intake manifold gasket onto the cylinder head and position the lower intake manifold over the mounting studs and onto the gasket.
     



    Intake manifold and torque the bolts to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm) in sequence
     
    Injectors with the fuel rail assembly. Be sure to install the fuel rail insulators. Torque the bolts in 2 steps to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm)
     
    Fuel injector wiring harness connectors and the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Fuel hoses to the fuel rail assembly using new hose clamps
     
    Intake manifold collector using a new gasket. Torque the bolts to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm) in sequence
     
    Throttle body or throttle chamber, if removed. Torque the bolts in a crisscross pattern to 13-16 ft. lbs. (18-22 Nm)
     



    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Throttle linkage, electrical connections and vacuum lines
     
    Air cleaner
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  2.  
  3. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  4.  
  5. Start the engine, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  6.  

1.8L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Drain the cooling system.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Throttle linkage, electrical connections and vacuum lines from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     

  8.  
  9. The throttle body can be removed from the manifold at this point or can be removed as an assembly with the intake manifold.

    Bolts holding the upper portion of the intake to the lower portion. Remove the bolts in reverse order of the tightening sequence.
     
    Upper portion of the intake
     
    Fuel injector wiring harness connectors and the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Fuel hoses from the fuel rail assembly
     
    Bolts that secure the fuel rail to the intake
     
    Injectors with the fuel rail assembly
     
    Intake manifold retaining bolts in the proper sequence and separate the manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the bolts in reverse order of the tightening sequence.
     
    Intake manifold gasket and clean all the gasket contact surfaces thoroughly with a gasket scraper and suitable solvent. All traces of old gasket material must be removed to ensure proper sealing.
     
    Inspect the intake manifold for cracks. Using a metal straight-edge, check the surface of the intake manifold for warpage.
     

  10.  

To install:

  1. Install or connect the following:

    New intake manifold gasket onto the cylinder head and position the lower intake manifold over the mounting studs and onto the gasket.
     
    Intake manifold and torque the bolts to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm) in sequence
     
    Injectors with the fuel rail assembly. Be sure to install the fuel rail insulators. Torque the bolts in 2 steps to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm).

    Fuel injector wiring harness connectors and the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Fuel hoses to the fuel rail assembly using new hose clamps
     
    Intake manifold collector using a new gasket. Torque the bolts to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm) in sequence.
     
    Throttle body or throttle chamber, if removed. Torque the bolts in a crisscross pattern to 13-16 ft. lbs. (18-22 Nm).

NOTE
Be sure to properly position the throttle body gasket with the cut out facing down.

  1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  2.  
  3. Start the engine, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  4.  

2.0L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Drain the cooling system.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Manifold support brackets
     
    Throttle linkage, electrical connections and vacuum lines from the throttle body. Be sure to note the locations of all connections.
     
    Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube from the manifold
     
    Fuel rail assembly
     
    Drive belts and water pump pulley
     
    Alternator and power steering pump
     
    Oil filter bracket and power steering bracket
     
    Intake manifold collector retaining bolts in the reverse of installation sequence and separate the collector from the manifold
     
    Intake manifold assembly retaining bolts in the reverse order of the tightening sequence and separate the manifold from the cylinder head
     
    All gasket material and clean all the gasket contact surfaces thoroughly with a gasket scraper and a suitable solvent. All traces of old gasket material must be removed to ensure proper sealing.
     
    Inspect the intake manifold for cracks. Using a metal straightedge, check the surface of the intake manifold for warpage.

  1. Install or connect the following:

    Intake manifold with new gaskets and torque the bolts, in sequence, to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm)
     
    Intake manifold collector with new gaskets and torque the bolts, in sequence, to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm)
     
    Oil filter bracket
     
    Power steering bracket
     
    Alternator and power steering pump
     
    Water pump pulley and drive belts
     
    Fuel rail assembly with new insulators and torque the bolts to 35 inch lbs. (4 Nm)
     
    EGR tube
     
    Throttle linkage, vacuum lines and electrical connections to the throttle body
     
    Manifold support brackets with new gaskets and torque the bolts to 20 ft. lbs. (26 Nm)
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  2.  
  3. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  4.  
  5. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  6.  

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Drain the cooling system.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Manifold support brackets
     
    Throttle linkage, electrical connections and vacuum lines from the throttle body. Be sure to note the locations of all connections.
     
    Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube from the manifold
     
    Fuel rail assembly
     
    Dive belts and water pump pulley
     
    Alternator and power steering pump
     
    Oil filter bracket and power steering bracket
     
    Intake manifold collector retaining bolts in the reverse of installation sequence and separate the collector from the manifold
     
    Intake manifold assembly retaining bolts in the reverse order of the tightening sequence and separate the manifold from the cylinder head
     
    All gasket material and clean all the gasket contact surfaces thoroughly with a gasket scraper and a suitable solvent. All traces of old gasket material must be removed to ensure proper sealing.

  1. Install or connect the following:

    Intake manifold with new gaskets and torque the bolts, in sequence, to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm)
     
    Intake manifold collector with new gaskets and torque the bolts, in sequence, to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-21 Nm)
     
    Oil filter bracket
     
    Power steering bracket
     
    Alternator and power steering pump
     
    Water pump pulley and drive belts
     
    Fuel rail assembly with new insulators and torque the bolts to 35 inch lbs. (4 Nm)
     
    EGR tube
     
    Throttle linkage, vacuum lines and electrical connections to the throttle body
     
    Manifold support brackets with new gaskets and torque the bolts to 20 ft. lbs. (26 Nm)
     
    Air cleaner assembly
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  2.  
  3. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  4.  
  5. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  6.  

2.5L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Drain the cooling system.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    PCV hose
     
    EVAP canister purge solenoid
     
    Electronic throttle control actuator
     
    Brake booster vacuum hose
     
    Fuel line quick connector
     
    Intake manifold collector harness and vacuum hose
     
    Intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts/nuts in the reverse sequence of the tightening procedure and separate the intake manifold from the intake manifold collector
     
    Intake manifold in the reverse sequence of the tightening procedure.
     

  8.  
  9. Using a putty knife, clean the gasket mounting surfaces. Check the intake manifold/collector for cracks and warpage.
  10.

  1. Install or connect the following:

    Intake manifold with new gaskets and torque the bolts, in sequence, to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-22 Nm)
     
    Intake manifold collector using new gaskets and torque the bolts in sequence to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-22 Nm)
     
    Intake manifold collector harness and vacuum hose
     
    Fuel line quick connector
     
    Brake booster vacuum hose
     
    Electronic throttle control actuator
     
    EVAP canister purge solenoid
     
    PCV hose
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  2.  
  3. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  4.  
  5. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  6.  

3.0L & 3.5L Engines
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Release the fuel system pressure.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  8.  
  9. On 350Z remove or disconnect the following:

    Strut tower bar
     
    Engine cover
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    Electronic throttle control actuator bolt in the sequence shown
     
    Fuel injector and fuel tube assembly
     
    Vacuum and water hoses from intake manifold collector
     
    EVAP solenoid valve bracket
     
    Upper intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence
     
    PCV hose
     
    Lower intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence
     

  10.  
  11. On Altima and Maxima remove or disconnect the following:

    Throttle body coolant hoses
     
    Electrical connectors from the Throttle Position (TP) sensor
     
    Hoses from the throttle body, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, intake manifold collector, Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Canister purge hose and blow-by hose
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Accelerator cable from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Right side electrical connectors from the ignition coils
     
    Electrical connector from the crank angle sensor and the power transistor, if necessary
     
    Intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts/nuts and the intake manifold collector
     

  12.  
  13. Remove the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Detach the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
    2.  
    3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injector assembly.
    4.  
    5. Remove the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts.
    6.  
    7. Remove the fuel rail assembly from the engine.
    8.  

  14.  
  15. On all models, remove or disconnect the following:

    Intake manifold bolts/nuts in the reverse of the installation sequence
     
    Intake manifold from the engine and discard the gaskets
     

  16.  
  17. Clean all gasket mounting surfaces.
  18.

  1. Using new gaskets, install the intake manifold to the engine.
  2.  
  3. Torque the bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: 44-89 inch lbs. (5-10 Nm).
    2.  
    3. Step 2: 20-23 ft. lbs. (26-31 Nm).
    4.  

  4.  
  5. On 350Z install or connect the following:

    Lower intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence and tighten to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
     
    PCV hose
     
    Upper intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence and tighten to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
     
    EVAP solenoid valve bracket
     
    Vacuum and water hoses from intake manifold collector
     
    Fuel injector and fuel tube assembly Electronic throttle control actuator bolts in the sequence shown and tighten to 64-85 inch lbs. (7-10 Nm)
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    Engine cover
     
    Strut tower bar and tighten to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm).

  7. On Altima and Maxima install or connect the following:

  9. Install the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Install the fuel rail assembly to the engine.
    2.  
    3. Install the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts and tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm) in 2 progressive steps.
    4.  
    5. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel injector assembly.
    6.  
    7. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
    8.  

  10.  
  11. Install the intake manifold collector. Torque the bolts to 8-11 ft. lbs. (11-15 Nm).
  12.  
  13. Install or connect the following:

    Crank angle sensor and transmitter electrical connectors
     
    Right side ignition coil electrical connectors
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Accelerator cable to the throttle body
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Canister purge and blow by hoses
     
    Throttle body, EGR valve and intake manifold collector hoses
     
    IAC valve and fuel pressure regulator hoses
     
    TP sensor electrical connector
     
    Throttle body coolant hose
     

  14.  
  15. On all models, connect the negative battery cable.
  16.  
  17. Fill the cooling system.
  18.  
  19. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  20.  

3.0L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Release the fuel system pressure.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Throttle body coolant hoses
     
    Electrical connectors from the Throttle Position (TP) sensor
     
    Hoses from the throttle body, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, intake manifold collector, Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Canister purge hose and blow-by hose
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Accelerator cable from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Right side electrical connectors from the ignition coils
     
    Electrical connector from the crank angle sensor and the power transistor, if necessary
     
    Intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts/nuts and the intake manifold collector
     

  8.  
  9. Remove the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Detach the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
    2.  
    3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injector assembly.
    4.  
    5. Remove the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts.
    6.  
    7. Remove the fuel rail assembly from the engine.
    8.  

  10.  
  11. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Intake manifold bolts/nuts in the reverse of the installation sequence
     
    Intake manifold from the engine and discard the gaskets
     

  12.  
  13. Clean all gasket mounting surfaces.
  14.  

To install:


NOTE
Refer to Section 1 of this manual for the intake manifold torque sequence illustration. The illustration is located after the Torque Specification Chart.

  1. Using new gaskets, install the intake manifold to the engine.
  2.  
  3. Torque the bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: 44-89 inch lbs. (5-10 Nm).
    2.  
    3. Step 2: 20-23 ft. lbs. (26-31 Nm).
    4.  

  4.  
  5. Install the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Install the fuel rail assembly to the engine.
    2.  
    3. Install the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts and tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm) in 2 progressive steps.
    4.  
    5. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel injector assembly.
    6.  
    7. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
    8.

  7. Install the intake manifold collector. Torque the bolts to 8-11 ft. lbs. (11-15 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Install or connect the following:

    Crank angle sensor and transmitter electrical connectors
     
    Right side ignition coil electrical connectors
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Accelerator cable to the throttle body
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Canister purge and blow by hoses
     
    Throttle body, EGR valve and intake manifold collector hoses
     
    IAC valve and fuel pressure regulator hoses
     
    TP sensor electrical connector
     
    Throttle body coolant hose
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  10.  
  11. Fill the cooling system.
  12.  
  13. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  14.  

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Release the fuel system pressure.
  6.  
  7. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Throttle body coolant hoses
     
    Electrical connectors from the Throttle Position (TP) sensor
     
    Hoses from the throttle body, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, intake manifold collector, Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Canister purge hose and blow-by hose
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Accelerator cable from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Right side electrical connectors from the ignition coils
     
    Electrical connector from the crank angle sensor and the power transistor, if necessary
     
    Intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts/nuts and the intake manifold collector
     

  8.  
  9. Remove the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Detach the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
    2.  
    3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injector assembly.
    4.  
    5. Remove the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts.
    6.  
    7. Remove the fuel rail assembly from the engine.
    8.  

  10.  
  11. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Intake manifold bolts/nuts in the reverse of the installation sequence
     
    Intake manifold from the engine and discard the gaskets
     

  12.  
  13. Clean all gasket mounting surfaces.
  14.  

To install:

  1. Using new gaskets, install the intake manifold to the engine.
  2.  
  3. Torque the bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: 44-89 inch lbs. (5-10 Nm).
    2.  
    3. Step 2: 20-23 ft. lbs. (26-31 Nm).
    4.  

  4.  
  5. Install the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Install the fuel rail assembly to the engine.
    2.  
    3. Install the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts and tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm) in 2 progressive steps.
    4.  
    5. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel injector assembly.
    6.  
    7. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
    8.  

  6.  
  7. Install the intake manifold collector. Torque the bolts to 8-11 ft. lbs. (11-15 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Install or connect the following:

    Crank angle sensor and transmitter electrical connectors
     
    Right side ignition coil electrical connectors
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Accelerator cable to the throttle body
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Canister purge and blow by hoses
     
    Throttle body, EGR valve and intake manifold collector hoses
     
    IAC valve and fuel pressure regulator hoses
     
    TP sensor electrical connector
     
    Throttle body coolant hose
     
    Negative battery cable
     

  10.  
  11. Fill the cooling system.
  12.  
  13. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
  14.  

3.5L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Release the fuel system pressure.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  8.  
  9. On 350Z remove or disconnect the following:

    Strut tower bar
     
    Engine cover
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    Electronic throttle control actuator bolt in the sequence shown
     
    Fuel injector and fuel tube assembly
     
    Vacuum and water hoses from intake manifold collector
     
    EVAP solenoid valve bracket
     
    Upper intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence
     
    PCV hose
     
    Lower intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence
     

  10.  
  11. On Maxima remove or disconnect the following:

    Throttle body coolant hoses
     
    Electrical connectors from the Throttle Position (TP) sensor
     
    Hoses from the throttle body, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, intake manifold collector, Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and the fuel pressure regulator
     
    Canister purge hose and blow-by hose
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Accelerator cable from the throttle body
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Right side electrical connectors from the ignition coils
     
    Electrical connector from the crank angle sensor and the power transistor, if necessary
     
    Intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts/nuts and the intake manifold collector

  12.  
  13. Remove the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Detach the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
    2.  
    3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injector assembly.
    4.  
    5. Remove the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts.
    6.  
    7. Remove the fuel rail assembly from the engine.
    8.  

  14.  
  15. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Intake manifold bolts/nuts in the reverse of the installation sequence
     
    Intake manifold from the engine and discard the gaskets
     

  16.  
  17. Clean all gasket mounting surfaces.

  1. Using new gaskets, install the intake manifold to the engine.
  2.  
  3. If necessary, tighten the intake manifold stud bolts to 87-104 inch lbs. (10-12 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Torque the intake manifold bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: 4-7 ft. lbs. (5-10 Nm).
    2.  
    3. Step 2: 20-23 ft. lbs. (26-31 Nm).
    4.  
    5. Step 3: Tighten again to 20-23 ft. lbs. (26-31 Nm).

  7. On 350Z install or connect the following:

    Lower intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence and tighten to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
     
    PCV hose
     
    Upper intake manifold collector bolts in reverse of the tightening sequence and tighten to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
     
    EVAP solenoid valve bracket
     
    Vacuum and water hoses from intake manifold collector
     
    Fuel injector and fuel tube assembly Electronic throttle control actuator bolts in the sequence shown and tighten to 64-85 inch lbs. (7-10 Nm)
     
    Air cleaner case and duct
     
    Engine cover
     
    Strut tower bar and tighten to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm).

  9. On Maxima install or connect the following:

  11. Install the fuel injector assembly by performing the following procedures:
    1. Install the fuel rail assembly to the engine.
    2.  
    3. Install the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts and tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm) in 2 progressive steps.
    4.  
    5. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel injector assembly.
    6.  
    7. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
    8.  
    9. Install the intake manifold collector. Torque the fasteners to 13-15 ft. lbs. (17.5-21.5 Nm).

  13. Install or connect the following:

    Crank angle sensor and transmitter electrical connectors
     
    Right side ignition coil electrical connectors
     
    Intake manifold collector support brackets
     
    Accelerator cable to the throttle body
     
    EGR guide tube
     
    Canister purge and blow by hoses
     
    Throttle body, EGR valve and intake manifold collector hoses
     
    IAC valve and fuel pressure regulator hoses
     
    TP sensor electrical connector
     
    Throttle body coolant hose

  15. On all models, connect the negative battery cable.
  16.  
  17. Fill the cooling system.
  18.  
  19. Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.
