Removal & Installation
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
- Drain brake fluid.
Remove or disconnect the following:
NOTEPrior to removing brake disc, make alignment mark using a marker between the hub and rake disc, if reusing disc rotor.
Install brake disc.
CAUTIONWhen attaching the caliper assembly to the vehicle, wipe any oil off the knuckle spindle washers and caliper assembly attachment surfaces.
Install caliper assembly to the vehicle.
CAUTIONDo not reuse the copper washer for union bolts. Attach the brake hose to the protrusion on the caliper assembly attachment part.
- Install brake hose to the caliper assembly, and tighten union bolt to: 13-14 ft. lbs. (17-20 Nm).
- Refill reservoir with new brake fluid and bleed air
- Install wheel and tire.
