  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Discharge the A/C system.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect or remove the following:

    Glove box and mating trim
     
    Cooling unit
     
    Fan motor resistor
     
    Fan motor
     
    Blower unit
     
    Three bolts then blower motor from the blower case
     

  6.  
  7. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  8.  
  9. Recharge the A/C system.
  10.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect or remove the following:

    Negative battery cable
     
    Glove box assembly
     
    ECM
     
    Intake door motor and fan control amplifier connector
     
    For manual A/C blower, two bolts and one screw from the blower unit, then remove it
     
    For automatic A/C blower, eight tabs
     

  4.  
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure
  6.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Discharge the A/C system.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect or remove the following:

    Two refrigerant lines from the engine compartment. Cap the A/C lines to prevent moisture from entering the system
     
    Glove box and mating trim
     
    Cooling unit
     
    Resistor and blower motor connector
     
    Blower unit
     
    Three bolts then blower motor from the blower case
     

  6.  
  7. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  8.  
  9. Recharge the A/C system.
